Eid Mubarak 2021

Assalamualaikum dearest brothers and sisters, Eid Mubarak from JMA UK! ?
We hope that you have a most joyous and wonderful day insha’Allah! ?

⭐ Ibn Abbas (RA) narrated: ‘When the day of Eid-ul-Fitr [begins], the angels descend on earth, where they take their positions at access points of roads, calling out with a voice that is heard by the whole creation of Allah, except men and Jinn, “O Ummah of Muhammad (SAW)! Come out to your most Noble and Gracious Lord, who grants much, and pardons the major sins”.

⭐ When they proceed to their places of prayer, Allah, Exalted is He, says to His angels, “O My angels! What is the reward of a worker when he has done his work?” So they say, “Our Lord and Our Master! To receive his reward [for the work, in full]”.

⭐ So He says, “I call you to witness that, for their fasts [during Ramadan], and for their standing in prayer at night, I have made their reward My Pleasure, and my Forgiveness. Depart [from here], you are forgiven.”’ [Lataif al-Ma’arif]

Insha’Allah, we hope that you have reaped the full blessings of the holy month of Ramadan and feel spiritually renewed for the rest of the year. One of the greatest things about Ramadan is that charity work increases tenfold as the ummah comes together to help our brothers and sisters in need.

Alhamdulillah, we were humbled and overjoyed by the charitable response we received from our supporters this year.

During times of widespread crisis, it is always a little worrying because one can never really gauge how people’s ability to give charity will be affected but by the mercy of Allah (SWT) and the generosity he has placed in you hearts, alhamdulillah – you gave, you gave and you gave.

We had an incredible show of community support for our iftar project in Sri Lanka and The Gambia, our Fitra appeal and our other smaller ongoing projects.

For the kindness you have all shown us dear brothers and sisters, we cannot thank you enough.

Sincerely, jazakallah khair to…
• Everyone who donated to our projects.
• Everyone who helped organise the appeals.
• Everyone who helped package and distribute parcels on the field.
• Everyone from Masjid Al Jannah as they have supported our charity time and time again.
• Everyone who has shared our appeals with their friends and family.

If you have put even a shred of kindness in our path, jazakallah khair. We see you all and will remember your goodwill.

Insha’Allah, on this blessed day, we at JMA UK wish you peace, joy and a heart that continues to seek the favour of Allah (SWT).

May Allah (SWT) accept our fasts and good deeds. May He also forgive us for our shortcomings and guide us to the straight path.

Please continue to support our charity and help it reach more brothers and sisters in need, insha’Allah.

Eid Mubarak! ?

Wassalaam,
