Assalamualaikum all,
JMA has decided to arrange a community event in Jaffna from 1st August 2017 – 7th August 2017.
The week will be an opportunity for the community to get together, network, support each other and encourage our children to achieve the most that they can. We believe that this will be a joyous occasion in which everyone will be able to see old friends, make new ones, promote unity and really realise that our community has potential, despite everything that it has faced in the past.
We will be having various sports fixtures, a football tournament, a children’s programme and a food festival amongst many other activities for everyone to take part in. We are also looking to promote re-settlement, encourage charity and set up a medical camp for the week. This event will be open to everyone, please come and show us your support. If there are any people in the international community who are planning to go, please let us know so that we can arrange to include your family in the events.
